The IF663 (6x6 Post Saddle for 76 mm ground screws) is a heavy-duty, hot-dip galvanized steel adapter engineered to bolt securely onto the standard top cap of 76 mm (3" nominal) metric ground screws and accommodate a nominal 6x6 (150 × 150 mm actual, or North American 5.5" × 5.5") timber post for demanding timber-frame applications like pergolas, carports, timber pavilions, and light commercial boardwalks.
Constructed from 10–12 mm S355 structural steel with fully welded seams and reinforced 8 mm side gussets, it includes a deep 160–180 mm tall square pocket lined with multiple 13–16 mm pre-drilled holes across all four sides for M12–M16 lag screws, through-bolts, or heavy-duty structural timber fasteners, complemented by a 6-bolt (typically M16) base flange matching the standard 76 mm ground screw cap pattern.
